In an effort to keep our dates uniform, it was agreed at our December meeting, to shift to the second Tuesday of the month. This however conflicted with two of our executives, and it was then decided to move to the second Wednesday of the month. As we preferred to meet in the Glencoe Room rather than the William Garden Room (for noise reasons) this was given the nod by the members. However, we then hit a hurdle. Despite these dates and room being agreed upon by the Swan Hill Club, it became apparent that this date held historical significance to another organisation that had failed to “lock the date in” prior to us.
The Residents and Ratepayers Association, in the spirit of Community that our organisation highly esteems and rests upon, agreed to move to the third Wednesday of the month. Hopefully moving forward this will be our regular meeting date and location, at least for the rest of the year. The dates of the 2026 meetings can be found here.
